SLSNR Board & Ski Squad Announcement

In a new initiative, the below members have been named into respective Board and Ski squads by a selection panel. These selections have been ratified by the SLSNR Sport Operational Committee (SOC), as part of SLSNR’s High Performance strategy. The intent is to provide an opportunity for our established & elite athletes to hone their skills with developing athletes also invited to learn & observe in the same environment.

Similar opportunities are currently being developed for the IRB & Boat fraternity with key influencers being engaged within these areas.

We aim to build on this program in the coming seasons, offering similar opportunities to Beach, Pool, Swim & Iron athletes.

Those named in the Board & Ski squad are invited to the below training days:

  • Ski Training Day- Mairangi Bay, 8am-6.30pm (POSTPONED TO 14th November)
  • Board Training Day, 31st October, Red Beach, 8am-6.30pm

These training days will include training sessions & workshops, delivered by coaches who have depth of knowledge in their respective areas that contribute to performance. The selection panel reserves the right to invite any additional athletes & coaches to participate in the above event for development purposes.

Congratulations to those named on gaining selection to the respective SLSNR Squads.

Regards,

Dave Shanks
