Rookie Shirt Order Process:
SUCCESS!! We have secured funding for Rookie Uniforms!! This space is becoming more and more challenging to gain funding for. In order to meet the funders requirements, shirts will be lent out to clubs. Clubs will need to recollect the shirts at the end of the season and use them for the next seasons cohort of Rookies.
Please follow the below link to register how many rookie shirts you will require:
Child Safeguarding e-Learning Module:
For those that have missed it, SLSNZ/NR members are able to access the free Child Safeguarding e-Learning module. It is highly recommended this be shared amongst your Junior Surf & Rookie management groups.

Online RAMS update:
Donal & I have recently had an online induction course with Ross Merritt from SLSNZ who has designed an online RAMS form. This is housed in an App on your phone or device and can be completed offline.
This is in the final stages of development and has a Junior Surf session option. We’re hoping this will make your lives a little easier on Sundays!
If you have any questions on any of the above, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org

Water Safety at Junior Surf Events
After much consideration the Junior Surf operational Committee have confirmed that the requirements for Water Safety will remain as follows for the 2020-21 season:
U10 Age Group: All Clubs will need to provide water help based on a Water Safety roster system. You will need to provide 5 qualified and refreshed Lifeguards with Tubes and Fins for their allotted time in each arena. If your club is sending a very small number of competitors then consideration will be given to combining your water safety with another club.
U12 and U14 Age Groups: Clubs will need to provide a list of named (2 per Club) people who are qualified and refreshed Lifeguards with Tubes and Fins to be on standby in the arenas.
Names of attending Water Safety will need to be submitted to SLSNR by a communicated date and time.
