Executive Assistant to Chief Executive
THE JOB:
Surf Life Saving Northern Region is seeking a high-performing, self-starter to join its driven and diverse team. Based in the Auckland office in Mechanics Bay on the water in Parnell, and reporting to the Chief Executive, the Executive Assistant (EA) will provide executive assistance and support to the CEO by assisting in planning, communications, projects and meetings and performing a variety of administration duties.

THE CANDIDATE:
Facing a wide range of stakeholders from media, to membership, to Mayors and Politicians you will be a confident and dynamic person. with proven experience supporting Senior leadership team members across diverse teams.
You will be the glue that holds the team together and so an innate ability to proactively and effortlessly manage a wide range of administrative tasks that arise in the course of business, whilst managing your own time effectively will be critical. A key part of your role will also be to liaise with our Surf clubs across the Northern Region therefore experience communicating across disperse teams will be hugely beneficial in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Chief Executive with diary management, Inbox management, travel and meeting coordination
- Draft internal and external communications as required
- Develop and maintain external and internal documentation and related materials to a high standard of professionalism
- Collate and distribute Board papers and other Board communications
- Coordinate and accurately minute meetings including and follow up on action points.
- Liaise and coordinate with clubs and volunteers
- Management of office systems and processes.
This is a highly rewarding role in an organization that plays a critical part in the safety of New Zealander’s lives. While the majority of your work will take place during standard business hours you will be expected to attend board meetings that take place in the evenings.

Rock Fishing Advisors
SLSNR are seeking expressions of interest for Rock Fishing Advisors for the upcoming summer season.
The purpose of this role is to increase the safety and awareness of Rock Fishers on our Auckland’s West Coast Beaches in collaboration with Drowning Prevention Auckland and Auckland Council.
